Killing Time

(All pics. snapped on 12/26/12 - using an iPhone and Instagram filters)

I arrived at my friend's family's farm for a self-portraiture shoot the other day, a few minutes earlier than we'd planned to meet up...

...and so to kill time until my friend showed up - I took pics. of and around a pretty, little, red woodshed that stood there alone in a field...

This reminds me how much I miss you on IG. These are great. I just want to be able to tap to like them! Sorry to hear about your recent trespassing troubles. But like many others have been saying...I encourage you to keep it up! You are far too talented to stop now. I need to start a blog or tumblr account because I really miss exchanging photo feedback with you. Your comments really helped me push myself. IG has been a lifesaver for me.....I really needed an artistic outlet. I'm even doing a show with some other Instagrammers in January! Good luck with everything. As usual, I'll be checking in to make sure you're still making art. ;)

  2. @aglet - It always makes me so happy whenever I hear from you, Sara! I regularly check IG to see what people are sharing, and as usual - I really love the images that you post (Dale Chihuly happens to be one of my all-time fave artists!!!) IG is actually still probs the best place for us to stay in touch (I deleted my account on tumblr.), but if you DO start a blog - I will DEFinitely follow it! Also, if you haven't already - check out Society6 - it's a pretty neat site where you can sell prints of your images, and all sorts of other merchandise that features your artwork! Plus, it's a social networking site, with followers, and liking, and commenting, and all that.

I don't know why I feel the need to keep so quiet each time I scroll through the pictures that appear on my IG feed. I guess maybe I'm afraid folks will think it's kind of strange for me to still be hangin' out there - "liking" and commenting on their pics., when I never share any of my own snaps. Now that I think about it though, it's almost weirder for me to be silently stalking the people I follow - haha!

That's GREAT news about your photography exhibit!!! I am so HAPpy for you, you will totally ROCK it! Please let me know if there's gonna be an online gallery of the work that will be included in the show, I'd love to see it!

Ok...you've got me thinking that I need to start speaking up on IG...I'm gonna go there now and hit you up :)
