My oldest daughter spent 7 glorious days with me here on Anguilla last week, and one of the "field trips" that we went on together while she was here, included a (my first) visit to the recently refurbished Malliouhana...
...and LAWD Chile! Was it ever the epitome of the definition of "FABULOSO"?!
My darling daughter and I were in absolute utter and complete agreement over the magnitude of Malliouhana's upscale, yet approachable aesthetic...
…her omnipresent display of feng shui...
…along with elegant but somehow unintimidating glamour.
I personally made a damned fool of myself in front of the delightful, kind, and welcoming staff - as I swooned (out loud) over Malliouhana's exquisite beauty...in particular - the mirrored tile floor in the main lobby…*le sigh*
...I think I may have never in my life seen an architectural element that I've been more crazy about, than I was over that positively gorgeous, glittery floor...
The antique dive helmet collection in the hotel's entry - proved to be a surprising, and yet terribly relevant and pleasing vignette...
…and the restrained prevalence of the shade of one of my all time favorite hues - Tiffany blue...
…was so soothing that it only made it that much more difficult to bid Malliouhana "Farewell'…She truly is an Anguillain gem...
