Takin' it to the Streets

I got to the point the other day, when I thought I might actually lose my mind if I didn't force myself to go out and take some new pics..

I decided to start out by exploring a short street that I'm not yet familiar with - not too terribly far from where I live...

...and I was absolutely delighted that I had...

...because at the end of the road...

...I found this cluster of abandoned houses just begging for me to make their portraits. I was a very good girl and obeyed each and every "No Trespassing" sign, by taking all of my pictures from the street...and that was the only real downside to the otherwise restorative outing...
