Frequently, the spur-of-the-moment missions that I go on - in search of interesting subject matter to snap with my phone, also serve as location scouts for my self-portrait shoots...
...and that's precisely what happened the day the owners of this property - (so kindly, THANK YOU!) gave me the thumbs-up to go there and take phone snaps to my little heart's content.
I knew before I'd even squeezed myself through the locked gate at the bottom of the steep, winding driveway - that I would definitely return to stage selfpics real soon...
...and four days later, I did just that.
Never before on a shoot, have I placed myself so many times against a backdrop exactly the way it first appeared as a camera phone snap. Click here and you'll see what I mean...
...but I did manage to curb my greediness a bit, by letting a select few of the Instagram pics. stand completely on their own.
Knowing me though...
...I'll go back someday...
...I'm getting TONS of ideas as we speak!
