The only time I ever "go to church" here on Anguilla, is when my best friend Leslie brings me along on errands that she has to run there…and I'm always perfectly content to join her because it's a truly beautiful venue, and a great place to take a few snaps…

The plantain tree slip that I planted last October, with only one, puny, not even fully unfurled leaf  (which was then promptly ripped off during Hurricane Gonzalo), has just recently shot way the heck up! It's taller than I am now, and it has just recently sprouted two new baby slips that I'm eager to dig up and transplant elsewhere in my itty bitty yard :)
