I absolutely detest these nasty muddascunts! Had a small one in my damn bed the other night!!! 

The sting of a centipede is more venomous than that of a scorpion (or at least that's what they say here on Anguilla). Someone once told me that it felt like two big knitting needles had been rammed into his arm when he was stung by one, and that for 5 days afterwards - he couldn't stand up straight because the pain in his abdomen was so excruciating…neat.

Satellite was dead last coming around the first stick, in last Sunday's Peter Perkins boat race. But we ended up finishing 4th out of 9 boats? (I think?) We should've taken 3rd place, but I won't bore you with the details of why we didn't wind up nabbing it.

The British Navy has arrived at Anguilla. They'll be here through Carnival in order to help keep things peaceful and stuff…and to let the sailors blow off a little steam whenever they have free time in which to come over and have some fun on this beautiful island!

In last Sunday's Solaire Cup boat race, Satellite came to the finish ahead of sister North Hill boat, Real Deal, yet again (hollah!) The only boat that was able to beat us - was Sonic, but we get another chance to capture first place this Sunday…and I believe that we're gonna do it!!!

Two days after I came here to shoot earlier in the week, a fire broke out in one of the villas at this abandoned resort, which then started a brush fire that burned much of the bush that surrounds the central cluster of villas…Anguilla is currently suffering from a pretty serious drought, so this definitely could've ended up being a much worse situation with a far more catastrophic outcome. Props to Anguilla Fire & Rescue for getting everything under control!

I am SO sorry for posting a second "wave curl" post in a row (and I swear on my life that this one really was taken the day after the last one - I PROMISE!), but I've been going down to Katouche Bay to exercise lately, and the waves there have been so nice and juicy, and with conditions like that, I simply cannot resist working on perfecting the art of capturing the sea whenever she's in one of her moods. Plus, this was honestly the only photo that I got over the whole entire day, of which I am not completely mortified.
